32 degrees in Weld today. It feels like March and looks like April! Finally got my photos from vacation sorted out, and then did this quick sketch of the Bass Harbor Light. It is not "frame worthy", but it proves I have been wetting my brushes!

When we walked down the stairs to take this photo we met the nicest woman, we talked for nearly an hour. It is odd when you meet a stranger, exchange fairly intimate details about each others lives, and then say goodbye.....

Hi Dianne! I just happened to notice as I was going on the read something after getting you email that you had this blogspot link. How wonderful! I remember that you mentioned that you were going to being making up a site. I love your paintings and I hope you will post a picture of your new easel. You should paint that lovely picture of the door, gorgeous light and hat. Marcia

Easel is posted! I have painted that hat before, but I don't love it as much as the photo. Thanks for the support!
